An increase in recreational and social activities in the Eastern Cape were accompanied by a sharp increase in opportunistic criminal activity.  In stark contrast, Paradise bucked this trend.

Not a single criminal incident has been reported in Paradise this December.  This can largely attributed to close co-operation between all safety and secerity role - players – SAPS, traffic control, municipal law inforcement, fire protection service and the local Neighbourhood Watch.

Specific crime prevention and response initiatives had been devised and were implemented.
